U.S. Soccer Foundation
Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, government agencies, churches, and schools to enhance sports fields in underserved communities. Applicants must contact the Funding Source and submit a letter of intent prior to submitting a full application. Funding is intended to help cover the costs associated with improving soccer fields used by children and youth.
Grants are awarded to help cover the costs of lighting, irrigation, construction, surfacing, and enhancements. These upgrades to existing spaces revitalize communities and make playing our game more accessible to all.

Maximum support by category (Amounts may vary depending on availability of funds and established funding agreements with the Foundation's preferred vendors):
- Irrigation: $15,000, which could cover 100% of irrigation material costs
- Lighting: $25,000 of product material cost for single field projects; $50,000 of product material cost for multi-field projects (grantees are eligible for up to 50% of product material cost)
- Sport Court: Up to 33% of PowerGame™ material cost
Safe Places to Play grant recipients must complete their projects within one year from the date that the grant award is announced.
