Grants to USA and territories organizations in multiple states to address the needs of low-income elderly populations. Interested applicants must submit a preliminary application prior to submitting a full proposal. Efforts will be focused on the following states and territories: California, Florida, Texas, New York, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, South Carolina, New Mexico, West Virginia, Illinois, Arizona, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico.
Eligible projects directly serve older adults with low income. Direct service grant funding must be used to enhance direct services or projects/programs for older adults with low income.

In general, Direct Service projects will receive range from $100,000 (for Ready to Pilot projects) to $250,000 (for Ready for Outcomes projects) per year.
