In-kind grants of volunteer services to Mississippi organizations to enhance the quality of life for local youth and children in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support organizations working to address community needs within the focus areas of children’s health, early literacy, and social development. Eligible organizations serve the residents of the Jackson metro area.
The Junior League of Jackson endorses a Community Impact Model for selecting and evaluating its community projects. This model requires the League to identify a small number of critical community needs and place its volunteers and project funds exclusively or primarily in those areas to maximize the League's effectiveness in improving the community.
